I have been very eager to watch this animation when I saw its trailer in the theater and yes, I finally watched it! I feel touched with the movie (heck I even cried twice) and decided to write a short review so let's get started! This movie is telling about how a 12 years old boy named Miguel, whose family is a shoemaker from generation to generation, pursue his dreams to be a musician. His great great grandfather is a musician and he left his family in order to pursue his musical dream. His great great grandmother was upset and banned music in her family. Meanwhile, music flows in the blood of Miguel. He was gifted with music and very keen to be like his idol, the most historical musician in Mexico.
